I am working on achieving my dream of a job in the sports industry, after my playing time was over I took some time away from sports and focused on getting my robotics degree from Sheridan College, after 2 semesters there I realized I missed sports so much and took a chance coaching hockey. Starting out just teaching learn to skate I have now worked my up to planning and running full programs for all ages and skill levels. This opportunity has also allowed me the chance to learn industry skills such as software for sports, league and tournament management, rink management as well as managing coaches and officials.I am currently working with Activnation in indigenous communities coaching hockey and promoting healthy lifestyles through sportsAlong with my coaching career I also have experience in scouting JR.A hockey in the OJHL league where I would evaluate players and write up detailed reports on their play.Currently I am the Manager and Director of player development at NTR Richmond HillMy students and clients always leave happy and satisfied with the lesson, from kinder hockey to college players I deliver exceptional training and feedback on their abilities and plan with them to improve it.
