Besides my PhD, I work as a data handler and statistical consultant. I'm responsible for data extractions, checks, and storing of the LymphomaBaSe data linkage, which includes information from various Swedish registers on about 41.000 lymphoma patients, matched comparators, and relatives amounting to a total of 2.2 million people living in Sweden. I'm also involved as a ststistical consultant in external and internal research projects.

My research combines registers from Sweden, Denmark, and Norway, which often requires me to visit our collaborators at the Hematology Department at Aalborg University Hospital for conducting analyses of the Danish national register data.

During my internship at the Taiwan National Burden of Disease Centre, I was involved in the estimation of the health burden of alcohol consumption. Most of my work included data analysis and statistical analysis. For this, I developed a syntax in R based on my own functions to conduct the whole analysis and statistical assessment in R.

Conducted and planned in-person and online seminars with 15 to 20 students in addition to the lecture "Introduction to Micro- and Macroeconomics". In addition to my teaching tasks, I also administered the Moodle and Blackboard courses for the lecture.

During my internship at the NRW Centre for Health I was mainly engaged in the estimating of the diabetes incidence for Germany based on the Diabetes Population Risk Tool and in the estimating of the diabetes incidence for NRW from 2013 till 2030. Within these projects my tasks encompass the constructing of R and SPSS syntax, screening of the newest literature and the writing of a first article draft.
