My name is Joshua Goodwin. I am a hard-working, loyal family man who is looking for my dream career. I have been in management for more than ten years and an assistant for seven. I have a history of exceptional customer service and sales skills, especially when working with products and/or services that I believe in. I am looking for a new and exciting career where I will be able to utilize my education and advance my skill sets. I have worked hard throughout my lifetime to overcome hurdles and exceed expectations that people have set for me. I am a very determined, highly motivated individual who prides himself in exceeding at the tasks at hand. I have a lot of pride in the work I do and have since I started working at my grandmother’s kennel at 11 years of age. I am looking for a career that will challenge me and allow me to grow and exceed said expectations. During my time as a manager I have learned many necessary skills. I am able to adhere to a budget, schedule employees and maintain a good profit margin. I am able to look at the status of a budget and make the necessary adjustment to ensure that the weekly/monthly/yearly budgets are met. I have perfected my time management skills by adjusting work flow to best fit the needs of the company and customers. Through my years of training and experience as a manager in customer service I have learned many techniques allowing me to build relationships with customers and product suppliers. This has allowed me to create several repeat customers, which in turn has grown the company, customer base, and profits. These relationships have also honed my sales skills; to be able to complete a difficult sale using the trust and product knowledge so that another customer leaves happy and a sale didn’t walk out the door. In conclusion, I am looking for an opportunity to use my education and advance in my career. I will work hard and exceed expectations.
