With over 12 years of experience in underground coal mining and metal/non-metal mining, I am a WV certified miner and a foreman at Civil Drilling & Blasting, a leading company in the mining industry. I have extensive knowledge and skills in operating and maintaining various types of equipment, such as roof bolters, scoops, shuttle cars, jumbos, muckers, excavators, jacklegs, stopers, pluggers, manlifts, forklifts, and telehandlers.As a lead man, I lead a crew of miners in drilling and blasting complex patterns in the back ribs and floor of the mine, as well as grouting and pumping concrete and assembling and disassembling forms. I have successfully completed nine bulkhead projects that involved continuous pouring of up to 2000 yards of concrete underground. I am passionate about delivering high-quality work, ensuring safety and efficiency, and learning new techniques and technologies in the mining field. My goal is to leverage my skills and experience to contribute to the growth and success of Civil Drilling & Blasting and the residential construction industry in East Carolina.
