As the Director of Economic Development and Zoning Administrator I worked property owners to find tenants and worked with our regional development corporation, Green Mountain Economic Development Corp., on increasing childcare capacity and strengthen our digital economy ecosystem. Additionally, I developed marketing and tourism based projects, both digital and print. To achieve results in this work, I relied on securing grant funding and by raising money through the business community. As Zoning Administrator I worked with the Planning Commission to amend our bylaws to qualify as a Neighborhood Development Area and helped residents and commercial enterprises go through the Development Review Board process as efficiently as possible to permit their projects.
