My primary duties include creation of erection drawings for precast concrete parking structures, offices and municipal structures for multiple clients simultaneously. I coordinate with other trades, the design team and the general contractor to ensure all of the design requirements are met. I also coordinate with all internal team members, including engineering, production, scheduling and our materials team to ensure that drawings are produced in time for production.

I detailed precast parking, office and FEMA shelter structures for production of the precast pieces for clients around the country. I detailed piece tickets and erection drawings, as well as helped teach other drafters how to detail pieces.

I inspected wood utility pole structures for rot, decay and other damage that could cause a structural failure of the utility pole. I also performed infrared and visual line inspections, as well as pole loading analysis.

My responsibilities included QA and QC assessments / inspections on our steel structure inspection and repair projects. My background in concrete design and drafting gave me a firm understanding of concrete construction and issues, as well as allowing me to communicate effectively with the engineering team. My NACE certifications as a Coatings Inspector - level 2 and Cathodic Protection Tester allow me to properly inspect and assess problems associated with coating application and cathodic protection installation. My background in engineering as a technician and drafter allowed me to communicate areas of design concern and design modifications with the engineers. I have strong interpersonal skills that allow me to effectively communicate with all levels of a team, from the crew members up to management. I also have exceptional skills at training and performing demonstrations.

I designed precast concrete modular jail cells. My responsibilities included materials coordination, structural connection coordination, detailed design (MEP and structural), and coordination with inside and outside staff and contractors.
