The… Show more As a JFO and TSO, my job is highly dependent on my ability to both process and generate accurate data in a timely manner; as well as troubleshoot relentlessly until I meet with success or an answer better than “I tried”. My job as a TSO pertains to the communications electronics world, where carrying millions of dollars in a backpack is the norm. Consequently, having accountability of that gear is crucial, and has given me a familiarity with stock listing and file management. The constant need to refresh and keep up with new knowledge in and around the changing landscape of the comm world means assimilating new gear and new capabilities. As a JFO, I work directly under the Joint Terminal Attack Controller. Together, we work to shape the battle space for infantry units by conducting close air support. As the go-to man for the JTAC, my work needs to be done as soon as possible, as thoroughly as possible. I do this in support of 2D Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion, “Gunfighter” company, as a part of their small unmanned aerial surveillance vehicle. Show less

I began my time in the fleet Marine Corps on the 11th of March, 2022, and immediately began a work-up for a Unit Deployment Program to Okinawa, Japan. During this 5-month period of time, I received on-the-job training in my occupation, as well as cross-training as a Fire Support Marine.
