Managing Director and Founder of Valhalla Fiduciary, LLC which I launched in July of 2018. Valhalla Fiduciary’s primary business is providing independent non-executive director services.

I have been active in shaping best practices in the industry since my time at PAAMCO. I am frequently invited to participate in industry conferences as a moderator, panelist and speaker, and often quoted in articles and industry publications, and I am a frequent guest lecturer at universities and MBA programs. I've written and presented on a wide range of hedge fund and asset management operational and business topics as listed below and in “Publications” and “Projects".

I spent over twelve years at PAAMCO in a few different roles. I performed operational due diligence my entire time from March 2006 through June 2018. I was the Head of Operational Due Diligence and Accounting and the Chief Financial Officer of PAAMCO Select. I was responsible on a global basis for operational due diligence on new and existing investment fund managers and for all aspects of fund accounting. I was a member and head of the firm’s Valuation Committee. I served as board member on PAAMCO’s Cayman structured fund of one vehicles and was responsible for managing the independent directors serving on PAAMCO’s client fund vehicles and Managed Account Platform. During my 12 years at PAAMCO I covered funds that invested globally with a variety of hedge fund strategies and instruments including public equities, distressed debt, bonds, trade claims, bank debt, structured products, private equity, futures, options, derivatives, commodities, and foreign exchange. The firms that I performed operational due diligence on ranged from some of the largest asset managers in the world to startup hedge funds.

I was the CFO of PAAMCO Europe from 2007-08. Based in London, I was responsible for operational due diligence on managers in Europe and Asia. During that time, I led Business and Investment Operations for both PAAMCO Europe and PAAMCO Asia, and helped to launch the firm’s Singapore office.

I was a Senior Auditor at Deloitte & Touche, LLP, where I worked on audits of investment funds and firms, as well as private and publicly companies. My clients included Capital Group and the American Funds at Capital Group, Pacific Life and the Pacific Select Funds, Toshiba, In-N-Out Burger, and Calavo Growers.
