In addition to portfolio management, I am an experienced leader that has built out and managed highly successful teams on the sector level, as well as across all areas of the investment management firm. I have deep, success-based experience in raising assets and marketing these strategies to institutions, superannuation’s and consultants on a global basis.As a Founding Partner, Managing Director and Portfolio Manager at EAM LLC, I managed the de novo launch and am Co-PM on the firms Non-US strategies: Non-US Small Cap, Emerging Markets Small Cap and Non-US Micro Cap products. EAM is an institutionally focused and specialized long only boutique firm focusing on global equities and manages circa ~$3.0B in AUMPrior to founding EAM, I was a Vice President and Senior Equity Analyst at Allianz Global Investors where I served on the firm’s Emerging Growth team (~$2.0b AUM). Before joining the Emerging Growth team at Allianz, I served as the senior analyst on the firm’s Global Select Portfolio, a global multi-cap strategy and concurrently served as research head of the Global Consumer Discretionary Sector covering ~$15b in firm-wide assets. I began my investing career with Credit Suisse as a Vice President in the Investment Banking and Equities divisions in NY, San Francisco and Los Angeles. While at Credit Suisse I conducted independent/proprietary securities analysis, targeted/tactical research ideas and performed analysis on and brought to market, IPO’s and secondary offerings for the technology and consumer sectors. I hold a M.B.A. from the Anderson School of Management at the University of California, Los Angeles and a B.A. from the University of California, San Diego.
