With a dynamic background blending military discipline and technical expertise, I have forged a career path marked by continuous growth and a passion for excellence. My journey began in the United States Air Force, where I dedicated six years to serving my country. During this time, I honed my skills in facility maintenance and worked on the critical maintenance of hardened intersite cable systems for nuclear silo installations in Montana. My commitment and hard work propelled me from Airman Basic to Staff Sergeant, with additional responsibilities in Quality Assurance and as a subject matter expert, all achieved in under six years.Transitioning from military to civilian life, I embarked on a new chapter with Spectrum Cable as a field technician. My quest for knowledge and skill development led me to BID Automation, where I initially built industrial control panels before advancing to an industrial control panel designer role. Concurrently, I pursued a full-time degree in Electrical Engineering at Arizona State University, demonstrating my dedication to continuous learning and professional development.My academic journey was complemented by a valuable internship at Southern Nuclear, which further expanded my practical understanding of the industry. Returning to BID Automation, I ascended to the role of Lead Designer, where I leveraged my accumulated knowledge and experience to drive project success.Today, as the Engineering Manager at BID Automation, I oversee a team of talented professionals, guiding them in delivering innovative solutions and maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
