Being a programmer with a startup company, I was all over the place. We only had a single game project being developed at a time, which was broken down into individual tasks. The tasks may be adding new features, or updating old ones to match the current design. Whenever I completed one task, I'd get with the rest of the team to decide what next task is most important, and jump on that one. If it was in an area I wasn't experienced in, I'd learn it.Otherwise; I'd work with the team on designing the project, help with the art direction, keep our physical documents up to date, worked directly with our sound engineer to develop and implement audio, and occasionally fetched pizza.*It should be noted that I was never an official employee at Seven Gun Games. I chose to volunteer my services until the company could be self sufficient. Unfortunately, Seven Gun ended up folding before that happened.

As a Jr. Engineer for DS Media Labs, I'm given various projects related to the company's products and services. This may include adding ads before a movie plays, building the navigation layout of a new iPhone/Android app, adding Facebook and Twitter connections, or other similar tasks. ...and taking out the trash.

Autec, Andros Island, Bahamas

I worked for the local nighttime security at the AUTEC Navy Base during breaks in college classes. I held a DOD Secret clearance in order to perform physical security checks of the various buildings. The duties were split between guarding a single location, where I would screen personnel and generally keep an eye on things, and patrolling the base in a vehicle. Guarding the front gate also had me working with navy security as we keep track of everyone leaving / entering the base.

As an intern for the IT group at AUTEC, I mostly just did basic assistant stuff. Inventory checking, organizing cabinets, and playing caddie to anyone who needed another pair of hands.
