Managed DOCSIS and Ethernet ISP networks consisting of many IP devices. Responsible for planning, deploying, and maintaining new and existing infrastructures. As a local network administrator, my responsibilities included managing a Server 2008 domain controller, local mail server, local DNS, and local DHCP services. Occasionally I would be required to perform PC software and hardware repair. This entailed anything from installing new applications (Microsoft Office) to reinstalling a whole new operating system on the software side. On the hardware side, I would be responsible for both ongoing PC maintenance and performance upgrades as well as deployment of new desktop and laptop PCs.

Provided tier 1 and 2 helpdesk support. Tasks included troubleshooting DOCSIS connectivity, home network connectivity, and mail client configurations. Worked in a ticketing environment where adherence to policy/procedure was essential for efficiency.
