Joshua Patrick Grube joined Brennan Steil in June, 2014, after serving as a State prosecutor in Walworth County, Wisconsin for 11 years. Attorney Grube began his career as an Assistant District Attorney in 2003 and was appointed Deputy District Attorney of Walworth County in 2007. As a prosecutor, Attorney Grube handled everything from Juvenile Delinquency, Traffic and Drug cases to Sensitive Crime cases and Homicide. Attorney Grube has spent his career in a courtroom and has tried many cases before judge and jury. Attorney Grube concentrates his practice to litigation and focuses on family, criminal and civil cases. Attorney Grube has a very close working relationship with law enforcement and worked closely with the Walworth County Drug Enforcement Unit. He was an instructor for the College of Du Page Suburban Law Enforcement academy where he trained police on Juvenile Law, Legal Updates, Search and Seizure and Confession Law. Attorney Grube has extensive experience working with children and families who have been victims of abuse and neglect. Attorney Grube is specially trained in how children disclose abuse and how children behave during and after abuse. Attorney Grube is trained on the best practices in interviewing children and coauthored the current Walworth County Sensitive Crimes best practices protocol. Attorney Grube often trained professionals on reactive behaviors of children, abuse disclosure and best practices in sensitive crime investigations. This specialized training and experience makes him uniquely qualified to handle these complex issues in divorce, custody and placement actions. Attorney Grube graduated from the University of Minnesota in 1999. He received his law degree from Marquette University Law School in 2003. Attorney Grube resides in Janesville with his two daughters.
