With over 12 years of work experience in the hospitality industry, I am a passionate and creative Executive Chef at Villa Castrioti, a fine dining Italian restaurant. I oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, safety, and presentation. I also design and execute seasonal menus, train and mentor the kitchen staff, and collaborate with the management and the suppliers. My core competencies include restaurant management, food service operations, menu development, staff development, and culinary skills. I have a strong background in Southern cuisine, having worked as a Kitchen Manager at Bluegrass Hospitality Group for nine and a half years, where I managed multiple locations of Drakes, a casual dining chain. I have also completed a degree in Culinary Arts from Columbia State Community College, where I learned the fundamentals of cooking, baking, and nutrition. My mission is to create memorable and satisfying dining experiences for the guests, while fostering a positive and collaborative work environment for the team. I value innovation, quality, and diversity in my work, and I am always eager to learn new techniques and trends in the culinary field.
