As a veteran operations and management professional, I’ve spent over 18 years directing operations for franchise companies with unit counts from 0 to 300+, including highly successful brands in the health, wellness, fitness, and beauty industries. I direct day-to-day business functions for franchisors, including development and management of vendor relationships, policy and protocol creation, key operational tools ideation and project management, training curriculum development, business model formulation, and go-to-market strategies. Additionally, I have served as the primary resource in the identification of operational challenges at the unit level through 1) the ongoing critical analysis of data available via comprehensive reporting in the POS systems; 2) observations gained via field visits; and 3) consistent, open, and honest franchisee communication. Most recently, I’ve been focusing on new concept development and introduction. There are no manicure tables or pedicure spa chairs to be found here, so Hammer & Nails doesn't look or feel like a nail salon. Its primary focus is on hand and foot wellness. Clients leave this unique men's grooming shop with more than just well-groomed hands and feet. They leave with healthy hands and feet, a great haircut and a perfect fresh shave.As the Vice President of Operations for this Los Angeles based franchise concept, I led the processes of building and growing this new entry into the men's grooming market space. We successfully took Hammer & Nails Grooming Shop for Guys nationwide with an aggressive licensing program and comprehensive support system selling more than 260 Franchise Licenses in the first 24 months of operating.

Founded by a doctor in Tucson, AZ, that network of facilities has grown to more than 450 locations open across the United States. It was so successful that it went public in Q4 2014. Since then, The Joint…chiropractic also began to open and operate/manage Corporate units in addition to continuing to support its expanding group of franchisees from coast to coast. District ManagerAfter The Joint…chiropractic went public in Q4 2014, they began to acquire existing open units and building new locations in several states. To effectively manage those interests, it became necessary to have resources at the local level to ensure the growth of those units as well as to oversee the compliant operation of those clinics. As the first District Manager for The Joint...chiropractic, I was responsible for, and based in, Southern California. My span of control included 24 Corporately managed clinics and all of the front of house staff required to operate them.Operations Team MemberAs a member of the Operations Team at The Joint...chiropractic, I was focused on supporting new clinic openings, maintaining a comprehensive Operations Manual, hosting and facilitating monthly Franchise Training Sessions for newly on boarded Franchisees and for managing compliance across the network.
