As Sous Chef, I am tasked with ensuring all orders are packed for the following delivery day. I make sure all employees are set up and ready for their shift. Once all employees are set, I am able to direct my attention to making sure all standards of the company are being met as well as communicating with Hot Line and Fulfillment departments. I am also tasked with training new hires.

Working side-by-side with the owner has shown me what it takes to run and operate my own business. Ashlee & I are a two man team to complete over 60 jobs a spring/summer season. I learned how to schedule jobs and really work with the customers. On a normal day, I help load and unload equipment, and assist in mulching, planting, and maintain flower gardens.

As Shift Lead, I managed all employees front-of-house and back-of-house. I learned how to decipher where employees strengths and weaknesses. I was in charge of a variety of tasks including opening, closing, and communicating with upper management on necessary supplies needed from our distributor.
