Vice President Of Information Technology
CurrentThe VPIT is an executive-level position, and the senior technology position, reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, who has overall responsibility for the Information Technology (IT) area. The VPIT is a trusted advisor to (and member of) a senior leadership team that employs innovative strategies to ensure the Conservancy has the resources and infrastructure required for its long-term success.The VPIT provides the strategic direction and vision for the evolution and support of the Conservancy’s technology architecture and infrastructure, including voice and data networks, on-premise and cloud-based application platforms, enterprise systems delivery, end-user computing, and cybersecurity across the entire organization. The VPIT manages how all areas of organization utilize technology, including Communications, Fundraising, Park Operations, Visitor Experience, and Office Operations. The VPIT is responsible for the evaluation and recommendation of new technology to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and security of the Conservancy’s operations, including planning and implementing best practices for the information systems to ensure alignment with the organization’s day-to-day tactical needs, as well as its overall strategic vision. The VPIT Chairs the Technology Steering Committee and the Enterprise Risk Commitee and reports on security to the Board Audit Committee.
