On behalf of Valsplat I work for the Dutch Ministry of Health on contract for iRealisatie, a multidisciplinary team of IT experts that has been able to make a contribution to the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic by developing CoronaMelder, CoronaCheck, and GGD Contact. And now and furthermore, we are busy with new innovations to support all the people in the Netherlands for the coming years while also being transparant about the decisions we made. During the COVID pandemic, I worked on the CoronaMelder app under a different contract. Over the past year, under my current contract, I have worked on the following projects:• WOO Platform: Collaborated on the development of a new transparent government platform (www.open.minvws.nl) from scratch in line with WOO (wet van open overheid). This platform enables access to all decisions made by the government and millions of associated documents.• Mijn Zorg app: Helped with the brainstorm/concept phase of developing a nationwide healthcare app enabling access to your personal medical records, including your Doctor's (GP) notes, hospital test results, medications, upcoming appointments and more. (In development)

• Sunweb.nl: Enhanced the search experience for Sunweb holidays by refining filters through data analysis and user research.• PostNL app: Developed a comprehensive Northstar strategy extending beyond a delivery app, concentrating on loyalty programs and e-commerce solutions.• CoronaMelder app: Conceptualized and devised a strategy to enhance user engagement through proactive information customized to user interests.• Floorplanner: Constructed a design system to facilitate rapid and scalable development.

During my time with Valsplat at PostNL, I played a role in the App First team on a contract basis. Our work environment was a startup inside a corporate, so refreshingly collaborative, allowing us to innovate without being confined by traditional departmental boundaries. We focused on brainstorming ideas for enhancing the PostNL app, quickly building prototypes and testing them with users. Based on user feedback, we either refined or discarded ideas, presenting successful ones to stakeholders for potential inclusion in future app updates.Together with the team I also contributed to shaping the Northstar strategy, which aimed to align various app features towards a shared vision for the company's future. Our goal was to evolve the PostNL app beyond just a delivery service, striving to make it a more future proof app fitting with the users needs.

On behalf of Valsplat I worked full time for Sunweb Group as an external Digital Product Designer. Side by side with the product owner and developers in Spain we improved the search & orientation phase for all the labels of Sunweb Group. These labels are Sunweb, Eliza was here, Gogo, Primavera & Totally Snow.

I am proud to say that after completing my graduation internship I was asked to stay and work for the Innovation Lab, known as AH Tech Labs. The focus within the innovation lab known as AH Tech Labs is creating and validating new innovative concepts based on the latest technologies. We deploy these new technologies to provide customers with even better service. Inspired by the Lean Startup method, the emphasis is on quickly validating new concepts through a high level of end-user testing.

During my graduation internship at Albert Heijn, I worked on my thesis with the goal of improving the Track & Trace user experience of the Albert Heijn app. To this day, the prototype that I designed for Track & Trace is used by the team, developed, and is currently live. This graduation project got rewarded with a 10 from the Hogeschool Rotterdam, and therefore I successfully graduated my Bachelor's degree. Together with the teams, we worked for millions of end-users. Albert Heijn is not only the market leader of supermarkets but also online the 3rd largest e-commerce platform in the Netherlands. This was a very learnable period for me and I really enjoyed working on this graduation project.

In addition to my studies, I designed & developed websites for clients. I registered myself at the chamber of commerce as self-employed and formerly under the name D-signwrk to design and further develop myself outside of the classroom. Starting my own business has been one of the best steps in my development. Building websites learned me basic knowledge about HTML & CSS. I also worked on improving performance with SEO and Google Analytics.

At KLM I was part of the Air France KLM Digital Cargo team. In an agile scrum environment I worked together with the product owner, business analyst & digital content manager. My goal was to improve the user experience of myCargo. In collaboration with design agency Valsplat I created designs and prototypes to help the development team in France. I am very proud that at the end of my internship I successfully designed the API for a new feature in myCargo. This new feature will be used by many international markets around the world. I met al lot of really dedicated people at KLM and I want to say thanks to everyone I worked with and in special Vincent Lafeber, Ralf Shipper, Bjorn Post and Irene Thomasse for this amazing opportunity.

At Schiphol Airport during my studies I enjoyed working at HMSHost where people, cultures and kitchens from all over the world come together. Together with my colleagues, we did everything we could to provide the traveller with optimal service and good food.

During my internship period at Havana Harbor I learned a lot and gained strong experiences. Together with the design team I worked on digital rich media campaigns and UX projects. Under great responsibility I was allowed to work for large customers including: KPN, MediaMarkt, Telfort, De Postcode Loterij and Phillips

Visualles is an advertising and lettering company where I have done a lot of graphic design in the field of offline marketing. At Visualles I also worked on designing and creating websites. I was given responsibility for various projects and assignments; I also learned a lot about direct communication with the customer.
