I am a recent graduate from the University of Wisconsin - Platteville with a degree in mechanical engineering. Upon graduation, I started as a mechanical engineer at Kimberly-Clark. Previously, I worked as a mechanical engineering co-op with Kimberly-Clark over three terms. My most recent term was located at the Beech Island manufacturing facility where I designed machine parts that would reduce machine downtime and improve overall safety. My previous two terms were in a staff engineering position on the Capital Execution Team where I worked closely with the engineering team to guide projects through their completion. Over the three previous years, I worked as a drafting, estimating, and project coordinating intern at AZCO Inc. These three positions allowed me to learn about how industrial construction companies communicate with their clients, the engineers on the project, and various vendors and suppliers. Therefore, I have interning experience in the engineering and construction fields in design, drafting, estimating, and management type roles, and I would like to continue in a mechanical/process engineering role.
