• Research and interpret standards to develop and implement local and global HSSE strategies, policies and procedures within a regional business in accordance with ISO 45001 and OSHA standards.• Interfacing at all levels from reporting to Executive level personnel, to driving performance improvement with a 76% decrease in recordable incidents in 6 months on a major project. • Simultaneously serve as the technical and procedural advisor to project management teams on major projects with budgets of $300MM and total manpower of 1100 employees, while providing full-time direct support for the service line with 300+ employees.• Lead Project Safety teams of up to 14 personnel in plan development and implementation, hazard identification, risk management, incident investigation, causal analysis, report review, and performance assessments for major projects. • Interface with business development, operations personnel, clients, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies to develop relationships and facilitate the continuous safety performance improvement and strategies for the company and major clients. (ExxonMobil, Praxair, Oxy, Boardwalk, etc.)• Utilize gap analysis tools against ISO 45001 Standard to identify key areas of success and improvement within a service line consisting of 8 departments on an annual basis. • Responsible for collecting, analyzing and managing safety data for compliance (ISN, Aveta, Veriforce, etc.).• Create and execute continuous improvement plans inline with corporate management systems, values and objectives.

• Served as Safety Manager for ExxonMobil on nearly $1BN project spanning multiple locations and subcontractors while maintaining a project Total Recordable Incident Rate (TRIR) of 0.00 in direct support of over 150 employees.• Collaborate and build relationships with clients and contractors to provide a proactive safety strategy through training, planning, implementation of procedures, audits, reporting and safety best practices.• Investigate all incidents, recommend preventive and corrective actions, and track implementation through follow-up audits as well as record/document them by HSSE protocol.• Coordinate with Human Resources to implement the company Alcohol and Drug Screen program. • Conduct audits to ensure compliance with local, State, Federal regulations and industry standards, and provide immediate coaching during the audits to include reinforcing good judgment. • Develop content and design presentations utilizing PowerPoint.• Conduct training/testing modules as well as monthly and bi-annual site safety meetings to educate employees and bring awareness to potential hazards.

• Constructed process controls communications infrastructure while maintaining productivity with zero injuries in 12 months. • Promoted a strong safety culture through effective communication and coordination with team members, other crafts and construction entities by never compromising safety for productivity.• Utilized forms and procedures to recognize hazards and develop a plan ensuring safe and quality work is performed on every task and throughout the day. • Developed a reputation for not only our team but the company through uncompromised safety, performance and trend setting through consistent safety audits with no findings.
