Chartered Accountant with over 7 years of experience in the National Health Service (NHS), demonstrating a proven track record in strategic leadership and financial management. Currently responsible for overseeing the annual income of £565m, I have successfully led multi-discipline teams to hit the strategic targets set through my strong leadership and founded in my ability to create frameworks and processes that create a clear path forward for those under my responsibility, and create a culture and environment where excellence is a key component and expectation. I have worked on national projects, most notably the HFMA 4 Nations Project where I was selected as a representative of finance for England and spent a week over in Wales as well as hosting my Welsh counterpart in England for the week, trying to find ways to improve the efficiency of cross border transactions whether that be in patient care or the funding flows between the two nations.
