As a teachers assistant for Type West at Letterform Archive I aid in the handling and showcasing type history artifacts to students. I also assist with hands-on, in-person, and the online workshops revolving around type design, graphic design, and technical type practices of the past and present.

In my role at the Department of Elections San Francisco, my approach was imperative at paying close attention to every detail while performing administrative tasks. I performed community outreach city-wide communications with the public maintaining ADA compliance and re-locating up to 588 polling sites per election season as needed. With a small team having strict goals and extreme time restraints it was often necessary to step back from working independently and lend a collaborative hand to my colleagues. Ensuring all polling sites and its wayfinding print ephemera and site diagrams were error-free and complied with the Department of Justice accessibility standards and SF City Hall’s brand guidelines.

Working as a graphic designer for Albertsons Company I verified all projects and assets met brand guidelines, messaging consistency tied into the annual theme and monthly campaign focus. Producing multi-versioning, banners, landing pages, email templates, social media graphics, and mockup work for web advertising and brands under Albertsons large umbrella. I was tasked with signage which included color matching for specific brands and hand-picking photos and vectors for versioning while adhering to proper file management and tags.

At ALTR design studio I had the opportunity to work on multiple projects for the global software company, Oracle. Staying within the brand guidelines, developing relevant content across social media, internal websites, and socio-environmental engagements while also focusing on designing print/digital wayfinding systems, storyboarding, implementing motion graphics, and product design. Working in house with local studios I learned valuable tactics to stay within my budget and complete all tasks on time to stay within the parameters of end-to-end projects
