I am a recently graduated Ph.D. from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. I did my graduate work in the lab or Dr. Jean Lim on understanding how viruses of pandemic potential utilize our immune responses to enhance disease and pathogenesis. I am currently a postdoctoral fellow at the Ragon institute of MIT, Harvard medical school and MGH, focusing on immune correlates of durable HIV control. In addition to my biomedical work, I also am a strong advocate for science, equity and scientific justice. I am the former Co-Chair of March for Science NYC. We have worked to build educational resources, as well as to mobilize scientists to both communicate their work to the public, as well as to become politically aware/involved via voter registration efforts.
