Entertainment Group• Review and recommendation of the Data Centre migration process• In Room Entertainment detailed design requiring the incorporation of the following systems into the Hotel network; - Control 4 room Automation - Bahn IPTV and Internet Services - Saflok Wireless door lock system - Bartech Minibar billing system• IPTEL – Acted as a technical liaison between project teams.• LAN Refresh – Authored Detailed Design for a casino and hotel. This was a full refresh including WAN, DMZ, Data Centre and access layer.• Gaming Managemet System – Network Architect for the Gaming Management System Upgrade Project. This project is still underway.Government Organisation• Assisted with architecture design and Juniper SRX 3600 Firewall configuration as part of the DMZ project. This project involved a multi-tenanted environment for three government agencies with access to corporate networks, the internet and share services domainEnergy Company• Project to implement a monitoring solution that provides traffic visibility and application performance metrics.• Riverbed Cascade was installed with multiple monitoring points, remote Steelheads were configured to send flow data for a complete view of the network.• Custom dashboards were created in Cascade to provide simplified viewing and reportingEngineering Contractors• Multiple projects completed in this role, with the primary vendor being Juniper.• Data Centre re-design – This project involved the design, implementation and migration of two data centres. The legacy equipment was replaced with Juniper EX switches (4200 and 4500)• Wan Site implementations – Multiple small projects for remote mining camps, each of which involved IPSEC tunnels over a third parties network using SSG5 Firewalls.

As a Senior member of the Networks team, I am primarily responsible for design/implementation and operation of the Core infrastructure. I started my role at Boeing as Network Support but was quickly promoted to Senior Network Engineer. Primarily responsible for the daily support and maintanance of an international network utilising multiple vendors ( Cisco, Juniper, Nortel ) and a variety of technologies including Ospf,Frame Relay,ATM,Vrf and more.While in this role I also studied for and achieved my Routing/Switching CCIE #23347 on my second attempt

I worked for Excom as a Cisco trainer (CCSI #31206) and networking/novell/linux subject matter expert.This role included presentation and delivery of authorized Cisco and Novell/Linux training courses for both technical and non-technical groups, including pre/post technical support. In this role I was able to enhance my interpersonal and communication skills. Provided network design, configuration management and support of nationwide network infrastructure incorporating Cisco routers and switches.
