Leading a team of development, test, and quality engineers to design and develop a best-in-class manufacturing execution system for the Life Sciences industry.

Responsible for exploring and establishing the feasibility of new software products and services with a focus on Advanced Analytics, Data Visualizations, Mobility, Cloud Computing, and Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT). Collaborated with a Microsoft Technology Center Architect to design and develop a proof of concept that utilized a set of Azure IoT Services to monitor the health of various process automation devices in near real-time. Some of my contributions included: * . Developed an Azure Stream Analytics job that extracted device telemetry from the output of an IoT Hub, joined each record with static reference device information, and pushed the results to Blob Storage and an intermediate Event Hub. * . Developed a cloud service that subscribed to the output of an Event Hub, applied analytic models to streaming device data, and pushed the results to a Cassandra database cluster. * . Designed a Cassandra database schema capable of consuming high frequency time-series device data and feeding interactive data visualizations. * . Designed and developed a web-based dashboard that gave device experts the ability to explore high-frequency time series data. This ASP.NET Core Web Application (RC1) was developed using AngularJS 2 (Beta) and featured a custom HTML5 Canvas chart control that allowed users to seamlessly pan and zoom through enormous amounts of device data. * . Experimental with several classification, regression, and anomaly detection algorithms known to perform very well on time-series process data. Designed and developed a web-based analytics platform that gave process and automation experts a simple environment to import, clean, transform, and model raw data and a mechanism to easily deploy predictive solutions.
