I'm the Infrastructure Architect for BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina's Information Systems specializing in data center technologies and networks. In this role I am fortunate to work with the brightest individuals in our organization, from data center technicians to executive management. I also enjoy being able to assist our subsidiaries in providing technical solutions that meet new business needs, leveraging our existing toolsets -- or finding new technology where valuable.I am passionate about my work, from being involved with emerging technologies (including cloud, software defined networks, and some of our other favorite buzzwords), to reviewing existing solutions our teams produce to make sure they adhere to our current architecture. Solving Enterprise Architecture challenges is my passion, and while I enjoy all aspects of my job, I think the most enjoyable is helping impart knowledge when I can to others. I've found that if you can teach someone not just how to fish, but also where they should be fishing, it pays dividends for everyone.I have a degree in Computer Science from the University of South Carolina.I'm always interested in hearing from past friends, colleagues, managers, mentors, or people passionate about technology in general.

I was responsible for every solution that came out of our ICT department. It was a fun challenge, working with all of the platform experts and solutions designers, ensuring that what we produced was in line with architecture and best met customer needs.I was also the technical lead on all infrastructure-based proposals, oftentimes contributing a great deal of writing in a very short time.This position was created to help align our architecture organization and our ICT organization. I was happy to take the job when offered, and even more happy when we were able to execute hundreds of successful solutions and several major proposal awards.
