I’m a member of the Global Advisory team, supporting the firm’s relationships with institutional clients in the US, Canada, and Latin America. I also advise on a range of legal and regulatory matters that impact our clients, including, among others, the Adviser’s Act, the 40 Act, and ERISA.

I'm a corporate associate practicing primarily in the firm’s asset management group. I represent private investment funds, registered open-end investment companies and investment advisers in regulatory, transactional and compliance matters, including derivatives transactions and related trading arrangements with brokers and custodians.I routinely represent “buy side” clients and corporate end-users in the negotiation of ISDA Master Agreements, confirmations and other ISDA-based documentation. I also represent hedge funds, mutual funds, endowments and other investment funds in negotiating master confirmation agreements, tri-party agreements for collateral, Master Repurchase Agreements, Global Master Repurchase Agreements and other trading documentation. I advise registered investment companies in a variety of different matters, including fund disclosure, regulatory filings, compliance matters, the organization of new funds, fund reorganizations, and advisory, sub-advisory and other service provider arrangements.I maintain an active pro bono practice (primarily in housing and immigration matters). I was selected as co-coordinator of Ropes & Gray's legal intake clinics for the homeless sponsored by Massachusetts Lawyers Clearinghouse. I won asylum for one of my clients in May 2021, after nearly three years of legal representation. I was among seven associates appointed as a member of the inaugural Racial, Equity and Inclusion Task Force. The goal of the task force was to identify, describe and make proposals for dismantling systemic racial bias and inequities at the firm. As a task force member, I was assigned to the Access to Work committee whose coal was to ensure equitable access to career-enhancing work for racially and ethnically diverse attorneys across all practice groups.

I advised the Compliance team by monitoring firm trading activity, completing regulatory filings and implementing HMC's Code of Conduct. This required me to compile daily and weekly firm trading reports, prepare periodic personal trading reports, maintain HMC's list of restricted securities, oversee and maintain HMC's anti-corruption program, which included AML and FCPA compliance.

I served as a law clerk for the former Chief Justice of the New Hampshire Supreme Court, the Honorable Linda Stewart Dalianis. My primary responsibility was to draft legal opinions that carried state-wide precedent. In so doing, I researched and wrote on a variety of complex criminal, civil, and family law matters. This required me to listen to oral arguments, review and analyze large volumes of court briefings, conduct legal research, and discuss the case and outcomes with other law clerks and judges. Additionally, I also edited an equal amount of orders and opinions from other chambers.
