Kirkwood Mountain Resort, a Vail Resorts, Inc. ski resort, is known for its beautiful and rugged terrain. As a Senior HR Generalist there, I partnered with senior and front-line managers to make decisions that were best for our employees and guests. Some particular areas I specialized in were Employee Relations, leading the Epic Service Committee (recognizing employees who go above and beyond), managing the company EAP, onboarding all employees, and managing the annual Employee Engagement Survey.

OneSpace is a virtual freelance platform that brings companies in need of flexible solutions together with freelancers seeking assignments that match their skillsets.At OneSpace, I oversaw Talent Management. That included leading strategic recruiting efforts, creating job descriptions, orienting and onboarding new team members, and assisting in training and development. I was also responsible for employee survey data analysis, benefits administration, employee relations issues, and maintaining adherence to the company handbook.

• Worked closely with the Assistant Provost for Academic Innovation and Effectiveness on various research endeavors• Compiled and analyzed internal survey data to be utilized for improving the recruitment and retention of graduate students in the STEM disciplines as well as evaluating the strengths and development areas for undergraduate and graduate programs at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (SIUE). • Coordinated university-wide faculty development through conferences, workshops, and mentoring sessions as well as managing the SIUE Academic Innovation and Effectiveness website.
