The responsibilities and obligations of owning and operating a successful catering business can't be described easily. Every day new challenges and obstacles occur that teach you a new skill set valuable in any industry; especially an industry as publicly scrutinized as the food industry. Operation management, marketing, accounting, and dish washing are just some of the daily duties a CEO in the food industry performs; along with all the fun tech tools needed to accomplish them. My list of responsibilities is long, and they all require time and experience to complete accurately and well. However, the only real duty worth noting is the responsibility you have to your employees, the community, and your clients. In short, my job is to reach our company goals while providing a safe and creative work environment for our employees so we can give back to the community and provide a great product to our clients.

The Guest Services Management Position is responsible for maintaining confidentiality with company protocols and administration/staff relations, and managing a staff of over 200. The position also includes participating in all human resource aspects of staff management including: hiring activity, evaluation of performance, progressive discipline, and development of team members. In addition, and most importantly, this position is the "face" of the business maintaining and procuring hotel concierge and guest relationships. This includes attending local fundraising events, concierge activities, and other marketing venues.
