I engage in an open discussion with a critical mindset to start, do and reflect on our latest business efforts.In a nutshell, I'm a recently graduated Master student in Business Strategy. This was a specialization of the Msc Business Administration at the University of Amsterdam. Besides studying I've done two consecutive board years at a student organization called the Erasmus Student Network (ESN). The first year being a local board year where I successfully organized two introduction weeks (one each semester) for our main client the UvA. The challenge here was to ensure all our stakeholders were satisfied, especially the 1200 international students (from all over the world) who participated in those days. My 2nd board year was in the National Board of ESN the Netherlands in which the challenge was to guide, monitor and support 16 sections spread throughout the Netherlands. Actively managing and evaluating was key, including being flexible and communicative. Friends and colleagues describe me as a social and hard working guy who loves playing sports (read: football), doing research on interesting topics and issues (I always want to know more), travel and being creative. Specifically concerning problem-solving, bringing in the entrepreneurial, analytical and partly academic (base it on facts and numbers!) perspective to the table.
