Responsible for all Human Resource functions including:• Maintaining and updating personnel files and computer records for all 360 employees• Handling all verifications of employment• Processing new employee applications• Making job offers to new employees and conducting all new hire orientations• Handling benefits enrollment including annual open enrollment and explanation of benefits• Performing annual salary survey for all positions at St. Leonard• Processing all employee performance appraisals and raises• Attending job fairs to recruit new employees• Answering incoming calls regarding open positions and employee questions• Preparing advertisements for open positions in newspapers• Assisting in planning years of service and service excellence award luncheons• Tracking all workers’ compensation injuries and reporting them at the monthly safety committee meeting

Perform all Human Resource functions for satellite terminal including:• Adding new employees into Abra database• Recruiting new employees at job fairs• Updating employee records as needed• Setting up drug and physical appointments at a local clinic• Assisting with Workers’ Compensation issues• Explaining benefits to employees• Taking applications for job openings• Verifying past employment on applicants• Conducting exit interviews• Conducting new employee orientations• Calling insurance companies on claims for employees to assure payment• Answering recruiting calls
