As an ACx Engineer at AWS, I'm responsible for leading and managing commissioning projects across our data centers. I oversee multiple projects at any given time, making sure each one stays on schedule and progresses efficiently through every level of commissioning. I ensure seamless communication and collaboration among all cross-functional teams, including Controls, Mechanical, and Electrical disciplines, to keep the commissioning process smooth and effective.One of my key responsibilities is to directly manage contracted commissioning agent teams, ensuring they strictly follow AWS standards and procedures. I verify that all approved commissioning tests are implemented correctly on-site and that essential commissioning documentation is collected and recorded accurately.In addition to overseeing the commissioning and construction space, I spend part of my time on-site, supervising the commissioning efforts of all cross-functional teams in the field. I also attend factory witness tests to make sure Amazon equipment is properly tested before it arrives on-site.
