Part 2 patient privacy compliance, federal and state fraud and abuse civil actions, over-payment claims, medical malpractice defense, and corporate structure. From 2013 to 2016, I served as Vice President and General Counsel for Addixxion Recovery of Kentucky, d/b/a SelfRefind. In this position I focused on regulatory compliance, contract and privacy matters, employment and administrative issues. I also revised and drafted policies and management systems as the company rapidly grew. SelfRefind is currently the largest regional provider of recovery oriented, trauma informed medication assisted treatment disorders. From 2005 to 2008, I was associated with Boehl, Stopher & Graves, LLP. Boehl Stopher & Graves is one of the top five largest law firms in Kentucky, and is consistently ranked as one of the most prolific trial firms in Kentucky. My practice was focused on litigation defense, mediation and trials. Following graduation from UK Law School and prior to my association with Boehl, Stopher & Graves, LLP, I was associated with Rosenbaum & Rosenbaum, PSC, focusing my practice on personal injury and insurance defense, but also handling real estate, collections, divorce, and custody matters. My wife and I have been married since 1997. Our son JD was born in 2004.
