Worked within a network of Case Managers, Care Coordinators, and medical practitioners to assist patients in facilitating their healthcare needs and outcomes. Trained in motivational interviewing in order to encourage patients to make sustainable and attainable health care goals. Coordinated with insurances, federal agencies, grants, and state programs in order to ensure coverage for HIV prevention / treatment and for gender affirming surgery. Enhanced workflow strategies as Callen-Lorde transitioned into hybrid care during the Covid-19 Quarantine. Assisted patients in the following populations in benefits navigation: patients experiencing homelessness, newly diagnosed HIV patients, previously diagnosed HIV patients, transgender patients, the elderly, undocumented persons.

Edited information dissemination for research projects with partnering universities. Conducted qualitative research interviews with human research subjects. Conducted workshops with providers to teach queer/gender affirming care for sexual and gender minority youth. Published articles related to HIV treatment / prevention, adult sexual education, and culture pieces for people living with HIV. Presented research at the Gay Lesbian Medical Association 2021.

Conducted literature reviews while collecting and analyzing data from vulnerable populations in rural Egypt. Part of a team that designed surveys and facilitated interviews in order to improve youth health services and women friendly services.

Spearheaded public health programs within Vassar College and around the greater Dutchess County area in New York State. Collected and disseminated data through Baldwin Health Services in order to identify key health and wellness issues in Poughkeepsie and outlined strategies in order to combat them.
