About Joshua Etemadi

Joshua Etemadi started District Bonding in 2021. Prior to starting District Bonding, he managed a locally owned bond agency and while there, quadrupled the size of the firm, leading to two separate acquisitions over a 10 year period. Joshua has testified to U.S. Congress based on his knowledge and expertise on surety bonding for small and emerging contractors. He has been a guest speaker at universities, conferences and presents bond workshops for Federal, State and Local jurisdictions as well as General Contractors throughout the East Coast. Joshua is actively involved with the National Association of Surety Bond Producers (NASBP), currently serving as Chair of the Automation & Technology Committee where he oversees NASBP's efforts to improve automation in the surety industry. He is also Chair of the United Way Regional Council of Loudoun County, Virginia and sits on the Board of Directors for the United Way of the National Capital Area. Joshua holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from George Mason University School of Management.
