I am currently studying full time at Griffith University, Bachelor of Clinical Exercise Physiology. The goal of one day becoming an Accredited Exercise Physiologist.♦ A former Metal Fabricator Engineer with over a decade of experience in the field. In my former profession, I have delivered consistent results and engaging solutions to high value clients in local, national and international business. I understand the requirements of being an employee of maintaining successful business relationships. ♦ I know through experience that the client’s business comes first, and I never try to impose my thoughts or outside influences on others. Instead, I spend time on extra studies and training to make myself stand out from others. I have put myself out of pocket to gain knowledge and experience through extra training in a variety of safety training and night studies at TAFE and through safety companies. I am sure the experience I have gained will benefit me greatly as a future health professional.♦ I can (and often do) work well alone, but I’m at my best collaborating with others. I have spent years cultivating a relaxed but firm leadership approach, while attempting to foster self development whenever possible. I believe education is an ongoing process and I have been fortunate to receive extensive training from such employers as MckeeCo Engineering Pty Ltd, Sailfish Catamarans, Hurford's Hardwood Timbers, Australian Army and Tribes Adventure Group prior to my studies commencement at Griffith.When I am not studying I often find myself away with the Army completing promotion courses or exercises, utilising my marksmanship skills in conservation work on keeping the feral animal population down and fishing in my boat or up one of our East Coast beaches.joshua.painter@griffithuni.edu.au
