Josh was Lead GTM in the U.S. for Zeelo as they launched in the US after several years of success in the UK. He secured a Dozen+ leading Enterprise Programs with Blue Chip and Top Tier firms to deploy Zeelo's App-Based Employee Transportation SaaS Platform.

Zeelo is the smart bus platform for companies and schools, providing flexible turn-key and plug-in transportation programs.

The Routing Company, born from work at MIT's AI lab, provides the public transit market with a cutting edge, on-demand, high-capacity, routing technology as an App based SaaS solution. Josh works with the company and the Business Development division to develop and create long term contracts with Agencies, Associations and Governments across North America. He secured the Company's 1st U.S. paid partnership with a Public Transportation Agency, its 1st Private Transportation Partnership and has played a key role in developing its complex business development strategy. He enjoys helping partners take the uncomfortable step toward innovation and new solutions.

Josh was active in driving the development of the Company's advanced polymer composite as well as in the continued exploration for commercialization opportunities of its ZeoBLOC composite. Josh secured commercial pilot opportunities with Waste Management's Global BioTech Group a global leader and Casella Waste Systems a northeast regional leader.

Disrupting traditional brick and mortar distribution and paving the way for lower cost higher efficiency Manufacturer-to-Practice business. PracticeOn revolutionized pet insurance eclaims with its Vetenvoy technology and set the stage for the industry to move toward human health insurance processing. As well it made the portable, electronic medical record a reality.Procure is a B2B E Procurement solution for healthcare practices that enables practices to order just about anything they need from multiple distributors and suppliers in one place. Practice benefits include one cart checkout for all suppliers, order history, spend management and spend analytics.For manufacturers Procure represents a virtual distribution platform that enables a cost efficient route-to-market and the opportunity to be a part of every practice buying decision. PracticeOn is being acquired in a confidential acquisition.

Provide comprehensive Capital Raising, Business Plan Creation, and Financial Modeling Consulting services to early and growth stage companies.Engagements range from building business plans and comprehensive cash flow models, to actual capital introductions and equity interests.Josh functions in broad capacity in both developing business opportunities and in carrying out detailed analysis and financial modeling as needed. He leads introductions and presentations to both sponsored and private accredited investors.

Josh was retained to assist in a complex Real Estate Management Firm turnaround. The process involved taking the Company into a Ch.11 and working with 27 Senior Lenders and a dozen subordinate lenders with loans to 13 different LLC's and 35 properties with about 450 single family rental units.

Investments and Projects:Boxwood Strategic Partners: Next Gen partnered with Boxwood through Next Gen’s majority owned subsidiary Harbor Ridge Capital, to provide Private Banking services to high net worth ‘private family capital enterprises and their capital structures’Harbor Ridge Capital: Next Gen made a majority investment in this start up financial advisory services and capital raising enterprise. The business provided lending and equity funding opportunities and business advisory services to Maine businesses and entrepreneurs.HalyconeCorp: I was responsible for significant labor negotiations with Union labor leaders in multiple union shops in New Jersey and New England. Next Gen made a minority investment and provided daily management services to this investment. The Company was a professional and technical personnel firm specializing in power generation, mechanical and electrical industries. Next Gen partnered with a Bangor based group on this investment.Evest: Next Gen was contracted to recruit mortgage bankers for this Portland based net branch mortgage banking business. Recruitment was provided from offices outside of New York City, to Boston , Portland and Bangor. Additionally, Next Gen was contracted to negotiate a significant contract with LowerMyBills.com to provide thousands of mortgage leads at favorable cost to the business.Hayward Group: A group of businesses founded in the living room of Joshua and Elizabeth Hayward in November of 2002. During a three year period the business grew into a diversified real estate, lending, corporate training advisory group of businesses. Hayward Mortgage Inc, a Maine licensed Supervised Lender with $10Million warehouse line, Eastland Realty – acquired in 2004, a Maine Real estate business, Hayward Educational services, provided employee training on financial subject matter. Hayward Commercial, provided commercial lending services, Hayward Properties - developed real estate.

Worked closely David Broadwin of Foly Hoag, senior partner and manager of the Emerging Enterprise Center in Waltham on Winter St.Blue Sky Raise and early stage management of eBid mortgage an online mortgage banking platform

Recruited to return from New York and oversee the integration of four retail heating oil and propane businesses the Company had acquired under my advisory in 1995/96 prior to leaving for New York.

RHF was a rapidly Growing Regional Petroleum Distributor with major operations in C Stores, Commercial Lubricants, Retail Oil and Propane as well as wholesale gasoline distribution in the Northeast. • Initially performed as an accounting intern and quickly gained an in-depth knowledge of the corporate financial structure• Worked in all areas of corporate accounting from A/P to A/R entry to fixed asset ledger management, extensive education on corporate accounting• Promoted to analyst rapidly as a result of a combination of excellent financial statement analysis/modeling and communication skills when dealing with banking partners and meeting with acquisition targets/candidates• Responsible for analyzing a $1 million annual Non-Financed Cap-X budget, then matching all other capital needs to suitable financial instruments for consideration • Provided the bank with Quarterly pro-forma financials and Key Covenants coverage• Performed the analysis for a large multi-million debt restructuring and financing package involving significant subordinated debt and unique pay-off structuring. • Performed extensive analysis on the long-term implications of the major PP&E investments on future profitability and flexibility of the firm. • Developed a broad knowledge base of corporate accounting and finance. Ultimately functioned as a junior analyst reporting directly to the Senior Analyst and CFO of the Company.

Primary role was to cold call prospective investors for the licensed brokers in my group. Upon creation of interest I would then send the call along to a licensed broker for a potential investment transaction.
