Work with students to identify their goals and then formulate a plan to reach those goals. While there are many ways to become a strong candidate, each student must find their own pathway, and work to constantly develop, build upon, and hone transferable skills and experience to become the best possible professional they can be.

Work with student on all aspects of career development. Work with students from year one to develop a plan that will provide them with the necessary tools to succeed at a first destination job or in graduate or professional school.Specialty focus on students that are pursuing acceptance into Health Science Professional School. Directing students to the resources that lay out the pre-requisite course work for each professional school, and the activities that students should engage in to not only become strong applicants for those schools, but to ultimately become the best possible professional they can be in whichever health career they decide to pursue.

Provide the resources to help students pursue a degree from a Health Sciences professional school.

Work with students throughout the entire application process for admittance into medical school.

• Advised students throughout the study abroad process by guiding them on the path to programs that genuinely fit their needs and abilities• Presented on studying abroad, international internships, and service learning to students, faculty, and parents• Maintained records of students and scholarships to ensure we could report this information when needed • Served as the contact between engineering departments to verify that programs are credit worthy and that credit is properly transferred • Created a peer advising student organization, selected and trained participants that were instrumental in promoting our international program options• Jointly administered the implementation of a two week summer joint engineering/business study abroad program requiring coordination between 4 to 5 international program locations and administered the on the ground logistics at one of the program locations
