Senior Director Of Global Corporate Operations & Facilities
CurrentResponsible for leading corporate operations over Gap Inc.’s global office facilities portfolio of nearly 2M square feet. Manage a team of 20+ internal members and 75+ on-site vendor employees/contractors to deliver headquarters facilities services. Influence and lead strategies, best practices and internal customer relationship management with partners across the brands and Gap Inc. corporate functions. Accountable for creating and managing project and ongoing operational budgets ($20M), defining and measuring department cost-savings objectives, developing and utilizing strong negotiation skills and demonstrating strategic thinking. Provide thought leadership in the facilities management world, using industry involvement to drive best practices, identify potential vendors, leverage cost reduction opportunities globally, and recruit top talent with the overall goal of ensuring that world class service is being provided consistently at the most competitive cost, across all Gap Inc. campuses. Major responsibilities include:Create vision and long-range plan for department; establish, measure and report on standards, policies and performance, including service level agreements (SLA).Develop strategies to expand department’s influence and value throughout the company, including global regions.Oversee all operational aspects of the US/UK/Europe HQ office portfolio, including in-house and vendor teams providing maintenance, logistical moves, events/meeting space preparation, janitorial, mail, print/fax/copy, shuttle/commute, parking, business continuity planning and other office services, and act as the technical expert on these aspects in the Asia portfolio. Recruit, hire and train Directors, Senior Managers and Managers of Global Corporate Operations.Develop and retain high-caliber team by assessing current and future needs and developing an organizational model that scales the needs of the business.
