I founded and managed multiple teams that provided landscaping services to local clientele. I marketed myself through Facebook groups to obtain leads. I met with potential client’s to discuss the scope of each job and provided invoices. This led to me successfully securing and managing over 50 projects. I created a relationship with every client and strived to exceed the goals for the projects that were presented to me. I learned to improve safety for workers by training them on how to safely operate machinery and provided the necessary PPE. Throughout it all, I learned that maximizing team output was directly correlated to creating a positive work environment and ensuring every member felt their work valued.

I mentored a child with Asperger Syndrome and worked with him to improve his Community Living Skills. This included verbal prompting and leading exercises that helped with his cognitive development. I also helped him complete respite tasks around the house to give him a sense of purpose and improve his overall quality of life.
