Joshua Kapchinsky is a pastor at Granite Greek Community Church (GCCC) in Claremont, a local business leader and a founding board member of KidCare International, a humanitarian aid organization. Joshua integrates socially and fiscally conscious practices that directly impact local children and families, in addition to bringing practical help to orphanages and children in need outside the USA.Joshua’s business expertise and passion for inviting the community to work together for a greater goal has helped birth programs such as a Charity Thrift Store, summer feeding & educational programs, the Kid Pack Program, a local food bank and more.The need and vision for a social enterprise business arose when the economic downturn affected KidCare International, as well as many other worthy organizations that focus on utilizing resources to help people in need. Charity Thrift Store was founded in 2011 in Pomona to help support the programs and operations of KidCare International. This enterprise has helped KidCare to be able to continue to help people in need. Charity Thrift Store has also partnered with local churches and organizations in the community to extend their effectiveness.Prior to serving in ministry, Joshua was an international antique dealer/importer, estate sale manager and the nation’s youngest museum director.
