Movies, in order to boost engagement via mobile channels and ultimately create more advertising and sponsorship opportunities. Our model was so successful that Yahoo! rolled it out across all Entertainment verticals as the gold standard for the mobile web experience on its newly rolled out content and video platforms.I earned added levels of responsibility, eventually taking full product ownership of the global Yahoo! Movies product, including leading product strategy, roadmap creation and execution, monetization initiatives and test plans, and product launch marketing (working with Marketing team). We came up with some pretty cool features at the time, such as livestream video for major annual or one-off events that advertisers were clamoring to advertise within, and gamified social applications integrated with social media and movies-related sites to quadruple user engagement for events that happened several times annually, growing ad revenue in the process a great deal.
