Control Systems Senior Technician
CurrentProvide SCADA system support at the HMI and PLC level by implementing programming modifications, developing new programs, and troubleshooting control systems and related components. Manage cybersecurity platform for network monitoring. Perform cyber analysis on suspicious events and maintain up to date patches for CVE's. 1. Support configure and maintain client, server and related hardware for various operational systems including SCADA, video surveillance, and secure access.2. Ensure consistent and reliable network connectivity in various work environments.3. Implement, maintain and troubleshoot control system components such as PLCs, operator interface units, network devices, and workstations.4. Perform application development and deployment of HMI/PLC systems for water/wastewater facilities.5. Respond to, identify, and resolve user issues and coordinate the resources to perform repairs.6. Maintain a sufficient level of knowledge of operating systems and widely used application software to provide the appropriate levels of operation and support.7. Add and maintain users on the operations network; assign application access, and ensure security.8. Work closely with other departments to develop, create, and distribute information and reports related to assets and SCADA system tags.9. Maintain cybersecurity platform by routinely patching and performing analysis on abnormal events.
