Duties included completion of California Department of Parks and Recreation primary record and feature forms, recording historic and pre-historic sites located during survey, and updating records for previously recorded sites in the project area.

on survey/mitigation of sites related to Cedar Creek Battlefield that are threatened by the expansion of Chemstone/Carmuese limestone quarry; Duties included the instruction of undergraduates in field methods, overseeing metal detector survey, phase I pedestrian and shovel test survey, use of Trimble GPS units, recording and mapping sites by hand and with Nikon total station, and contributing to reports that meet DHR/SHPO standards in Virginia Work was conducted alone and as part of a team. Sites include colonial era habitations, early woodlands lithic scatters, and civil war encampments, earthworks and battle-lines.

Duties included the instruction/supervision of a crew of four undergraduates in the excavation of pueblo architecture at Frank's Ruin (LA 9032) in the Salinas district of New Mexico and in the processing of artifacts and float samples in the field laboratory. The research was directed towards illuminating the architectural trends and occupational sequence of this pueblo.
