Experienced under pressure as sole duty vet with average 24 visits daily with work in emergencies and procedures. Broad general surgery experience including: spays/neuters, limb amputation, gastropexy, enucleation, cystotomy, mass removal, and laceration repair. Comfortably with chronic and acute condition diagnostic work ups and management.

Two week prectorship with the Internal Medicine. Shadowed procedures such as ultrasound, endoscopy, rhinoscopy, CT, and MRI. Hands on practice with palpation, auscultation, and interpreting diagnostics.

Two week preceptorship, one week each with radiology and surgery teams. Shadowed over 25 ultrasounds every day, participated in interpreting radiographs, and scrubbed into many soft tissue and orthopedic procedures.

Experienced in asceptic sample collection and bacterial culture. Routinely used advanced diagnostic equipment including MALDI-TOFF, PCR, and PFGE. Extensive time spent collecting samples from cattle for vaccine developement.

Careful cleaning of kennel areas to reduce risk of infectious disease transmission. Daily monitoring of activity level, appetite, medication administration, and overall wellness with subsequent documentation into Cornerstone. Communication with pet owners about pet well being and any concerns throughout the day.
