Enthusiastic, independent/team oriented, & easy to approach mechanical engineer and certified Pennsylvania Engineer-In-Training with interests in manufacturing, design, industrial, quality, and mechanical related positions. My motto is "to work hard and change the world one project at a time!" I love mathematics and how it pertains to engineering & design. I take pride in my work and very conscientious in that regards for whatever assignment I'm working on. I am a professional at all times, but I also have a good sense of humor which keeps me upbeat & motivated in tough times. Without a good sense of humor while on the job, the tension of things going wrong and stress in the workplace is never a good thing and the worse it gets the worse a team functions & mistakes happen which isn't good for anyone - company, its employees, customers or visitors. If a company's not working as a team, it won't last.One thing that makes people smile is when I am so precise & accurate with a figure they offer a look of surprise, wonder, & curiosity. It's part of the perks with loving one's strength: looking at various application whether a system the size of an excavator or a dump truck or that of your average home appliance or a watch on one's wristband. In high school, I loved calculus, physics, & statistics.Since graduation, I continue to look for projects to keep my skills up & open to broadening my knowledge in manufacturing. Here's the scope of what was complete.Overall: Design various machinery with different carving and grooving techniques that provide the type of groove on a medical tubing used in medical industry required per customer requirements using AutoCAD and occasionally Solidworks.Tasks:Redesign Roll Groove Assemblies by exchanging parts from one roll groove assembly to another taking dimensions from the new assembly on another machine and drawing up a new model for the current assembly.Designed a slide groove assembly to be installed on a platform which include a slide pin (to carve the groove in the tubing), slide base, provide flexible mobility of slide and design dowel pin stops for accuracy, precision, and prevent the slide groove from falling off the platform.Added a support system which include a mount, brackets, bushing, adjustable screw, and a ball bearing to prevent the tubing from slipping.Updated a drawing of an older machine which has went through a lot of upgrades to its platform and these changes had to be made in order to install a safe guard assembly around the machine, equipped with interlocks using hydraulic mechanisms for lifting the guard for manual operation and adjustments.
