I maintain a complete understanding for school standards and rules as dictated by the Department of Labor and Training, as well as goals related to On Board Status, enrollment, separation rates, education attainments, literacy, numeracy grade point improvements, job training and post grad placement, etc. I'm also providing oversight and direction for the weekly and monthly programming of 4 departments for 27 prime and overnight shift staff, who are supporting 180 students, 7 days a week. This includes training and reinforcing student behavior management and retention strategies with my staff. My role includes ensuring budget is allocated effectively between recreation and residential counseling and peer leadership departments.

Additional skills required include: Education & Training Program evaluation through CMR, Schedule Audit tool, and CIS analysis.

As the CSIO supervisor I oversaw on-center Behavior Management. This involved creating and organizing incentives programs, ensuring proper progressive discipline, conducting Fact Finding Boards and Behavior Review Panels, and training center staff in behavior modification and proper reporting procedures. These tasks were key to maintaining the delicate balance between a successful student culture, maintaining enrollment numbers, and eliminating negative campus distractions and dangerous situations. I also acted as Supervisor to the CSIO, successfully training this employee to a promotion within the company. This role required complete working knowledge and implementation of Center Standards as mandated by the Department of Labor and Training, understanding of how to handle situations ranging from minor infractions to violent offenses and emergencies according to DOL standards, as well as using incentives and training to encourage student's positive behavior and success. One on one discussions and building positive, professional relationships with students, including both positive and negative feedback ranging all topics, were a specialized skill that made me so effective in this role.
