While continuing to lead the cloud platform infrastructure team, I also began to lead an operation support team. With a focus on creating and documenting processes, I was able to standardize and, in some cases, automate daily work. I helped drive adoption of Dynatrace in business unit and defined daily Production infrastructure monitoring and escalation.I lead the team in cloud cost optimization work through monitoring our current usage and track our savings over time. This was accomplished by removing unused resources, right sizing environments and establishing some automation to turn non-Production environments off during nights, weekends and holidays. Through this effort, our monthly Azure costs were reduced from approximately $100k to $50k.

I worked to 𝑠𝑢𝑐𝑐𝑒𝑠𝑠𝑓𝑢𝑙𝑙𝑦 integrate two cloud platform infrastructure teams with a focus on micro-services architecture (𝐀𝐊𝐒). By focusing on team interactions, I created a 𝘤𝘰𝘩𝘦𝘴𝘪𝘷𝘦 team. As this team mainly interacted with other software engineering teams, I was able to create 𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐬 by streamlining the team’s request intake, organizing the different types and increasing the visibility around work items using agile concepts.Personal development was a big part of my efforts.
