My journey began with administrative and public engagement roles at El Dorado Park Community Development Corporation, where I gained invaluable experience in community outreach, program support, and advocacy. Transitioning into the tech industry, I served as a Technical Resource Consultant, honing skills in problem-solving, training, and client support. However, my true calling emerged during my internship and subsequent role as a Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Counselor I at Comprehensive Addiction Programs Inc. In this capacity, I provide comprehensive support to individuals battling substance abuse, conducting assessments, developing personalized treatment plans, and facilitating counseling sessions to promote recovery. My commitment to ongoing professional development, coupled with a solid foundation in social work and addiction counseling from Fresno City College, fuels my aspiration to drive positive change and promote overall well-being within communities.
