This includes notable claims, novel briefs in developing areas of law and complex cases such as:- the securities class action alleging misrepresentation of the severity of the BP Deepwater Horizon oil spill,- Europe’s largest securities fraud (by Parmalat, dubbed “Europe’s Enron”),- multiple actions regarding mortgage-backed securities (MBS) that collapsed in the financial crisis,- a multi-state investigation and litigation, on behalf of two state Attorneys General, regarding a credit agency’s structured finance ratings, - securing of key representations and disclosures for Class A Shareholders in a multi-billion dollar acquisition, and- a claim against a foreign solar manufacturer involving complex e-discovery, proof, payment and collectability issues in which we ultimately achieved a mediated settlement, following 20 depositions in Hawaii and Hong Kong.

As a summer law clerk at the Law Office of the late Fred Misko Jr., I researched and prepared memoranda of law and handled voluminous discovery for mass class action litigation.
